Sea World – Marine Mammal Park & Oceanarium
Marine life, aquarium and theme park, Sea World has the best of both worlds. It is an ideal attraction to not only have fun but to also interact and learn about the marine environment. Dreamworld – Gold Coast’s Biggest!
Dreamworld is Australia’s biggest theme park, with over 40 rides, with 9 big thrill rides, including 5 roller coasters, it will surely keep you entertained throughout the day. Though this is really not for the faint-hearted and light-headed as there are lots of rides that will spin, twist and twirl. Though there is a section just for the youngsters and kids, so don’t fret. Dream World is broken out into a few themes. Main Street, Ocean PArade, Gold Rush Country, Corroboree, ABC Kids World, Wiggles World, Dreamworks Experience, Motorsports Experience and Tiger Island. These sections showcase a unique gathering of rides, exhibits, live shows, foods and great shops for Lego and awesome merchandise.
White Water World – Water Park
Part of Dream World, WhiteWater World is a water adventure haven for any age. For grown-ups, there are 20 extravagant private cabanas that are loaded with deck chairs, tables, iPod dock, fridge, staff service and even TVs. This lets you relax and bask in the sun while the kids go wild.
There are 8 water slides, 1 water park, 1 kiddie water park (Wiggle Bay) and a wave pool.
Wet ‘N’ Wild – Water Park
Wet ‘N’ Wild is a large water park that in the Gold Coast and also Sydney. This water adventure park does pack a punch. There are over 17 attractions here, including water rides, thrill rides and family fun rides. Cabana hire here is also possible with the kiddie park here being Calypso beach.
Movie World – Warner Brothers Theme Park
A popular theme park among many, it is a movie related theme park with first-class rides and action-packed shows. The main focus here lies on iconic themes such as DC Comics and looney tunes. Though the rides here are not to be doubted, there are insane roller coasters and big drops that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Some iconic rides are the SuperMan Escape Roller coaster, Arkham Asylum, Scooby-Doo spooky coaster, Batwing Spaceshot and roadrunner. Other than the exciting rides, the theme park houses great stores and shows.
Enjoy The Surfers Paradise
With its perfect shoreline and undisturbed coastal views, Surfers Paradise is lively and full of active swimmers, cyclists, joggers, skateboarders, walkers and surfers.
There are plenty of things to do in the gold coast & Surfers Paradise, you can either walk along the 57 km stretch of beach on the beautiful sand or partake in the many tours that are on offer.
